Fishing under ice with fishing nets.

Try out how the fishing with fishing nets is done at the Arctic Circle. Two times a week we check the nets and see if we catched any fish.  You are more than welcome to join us to this extreme adventure!

Ice fishing adventure.

Vanttausjärvi is a perfect lake to try out one of the most popular thing to do: ice fishing. We´ll show you how to use the ice drill. Then we´ll lower our bait under the ice, sit on camping stools and enjoy the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of Lapland´s winter nature while waiting to catch some fish.
