We offer private dining in our historic 19th-century log house. Around the long wooden table, guests enjoy northern flavours, candlelight and an unhurried atmosphere.

Dining in Saariniemi is not just a meal — it is a warm and peaceful moment in a traditional Finnish country home.

Our food is based on traditional recipes and high-quality ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible. Menus are prepared in advance according to your selected option.

Lunch or dinner can be arranged — always privately for your group.

Menu Options

We offer two pre-selected menu packages inspired by Finnish traditional cuisine.

Menu 1

• Starter: Creamy vegetable soup
• Main course: Salmon fillet with mashed potatoes and cream sauce
• Fresh salad
• Dessert: Rich chocolate mud cake with vanilla ice cream

• Starter: Creamy vegetable soup
• Main course: Sautéed reindeer with mashed potatoes, lingonberries and pickles
• Dessert: Finnish chocolate mud cake with vanilla ice crem
