Villa Ainola – Private Lakeside Comfort in Lapland

Located on our private Saariniemi peninsula, Villa Ainola offers high-quality accommodation in peaceful nature by the fish-rich Lake Vanttausjärvi – just 55 km east of Rovaniemi.

The lake (5.8 km long, 2.5 km wide) has a shallow, sandy beach that's safe and ideal for children. A private rowing boat, lawn yard, and a campfire site on the shore are available for your use – all in complete privacy.

This solid stone villa, originally built in 1964, was fully renovated and modernized in 2019. It includes:

  • A cozy living room with an electric fireplace and sofa bed
  • A fully equipped kitchen
  • 3 bedrooms with twin beds (120 cm and 90 cm widths)
  • An electric sauna, bathroom, and separate toilet
  • Free Wi-Fi and Netflix
  • Air-source heat pump for summer cooling

In the courtyard, right by the lake, is a 22 m² Arctic log grill hut (kota) – the perfect spot to gather around the fire, grill, and enjoy the moment.

Optional extra: A lakeside barrel sauna is available for an additional fee 250€.
