Experience the winter of Lapland in your own peaceful way.

Our private husky safari takes you across the frozen lake and through snowy landscapes in a calm environment, far from large tourist groups.

The experience takes place at Saariniemi Estate on Lake Vanttausjärvi. You will meet our friendly husky team before heading out into the Arctic nature on a dog sled ride — just you, your group and the rhythm of paws on snow.

This is not a mass-tourism safari, but a private winter experience as part of the unique surroundings of Saariniemi Estate.

Husky Safari Options and Prices

2 km ride: 150 € / adult, 120 € / child (4–14 yrs)

5 km ride: 200 € / adult, 150 € / child (4–14 yrs)

10 km ride: 240 € / adult, 200 € / child (4–14 yrs)

Duration

The sled ride itself lasts approximately 1–2 hours depending on the route.

The total duration of the experience depends on the selected program.

• Private husky safari (2 km, 5 km or 10 km)

• Warm winter clothing and equipment

• Warm drink and snacks in the kota

Transportation can be arranged separately if needed.

Our Commitment to Husky Welfare

We cooperate with a trusted local husky farm that follows high animal welfare standards. The dogs receive daily exercise, quality nutrition and attentive care.

Guests are welcome to meet and photograph the dogs before and after the ride.
