Rod fishing on ice

Saariniemi Estate is the perfect place to try one of Lapland's most loved winter traditions – ice fishing with rods.

We'll show you how to drill through the ice and lower your bait. Then, settle onto a camp stool, breathe in the silence, and wait for a fish to bite.

It's a peaceful and memorable way to connect with Arctic nature.
