In the heart of nature – with space and privacy

The Saariniemi peninsula forms a small private world by Lake Vanttausjärvi in Finnish Lapland, surrounding the historic Saariniemi Estate. Forest, water and open fields creates a place where nature and the rhythm of the seasons shape everyday life.

This map introduces the private peninsula of Saariniemi Estate in Finnish Lapland, where space, nature and privacy come together.

On the western shore of the peninsula stands our home, the historic Saariniemi Estate, where we live together with our heritage breed animals.

Among the surrounding fields rises the Saariniemi Barn Chapel — a peaceful and atmospheric place for celebrations and shared moments.

On the northern shore of the peninsula stands Aurora Cottage Matilda, a modern lakeside cottage with beautiful views over Lake Vanttausjärvi.

At the northern tip of the peninsula stands Aurora Cottage Otsola, offering wide lake views across the lake. The cottage has its own sauna and a lakeside shelter by the shore.

On the southern shore lies the peaceful Villa Ainola, where guests can enjoy a grill hut in the yard as well as a traditional barrel sauna and a lakeside shelter.

All locations are within walking distance of each other — surrounded by nature and offering privacy and space.
