Summer at Saariniemi Estate
Bright nights and the quiet beauty of Arctic nature
Summer at the Arctic Circle in Finnish Lapland is unlike anywhere else – endless daylight, vibrant nature, and deep stillness. Birds sing through night, the lake rests calm and clear, and the forest breathes peace. On our private peninsula, at Saariniemi Estate, you are far from the rush of everyday life. surrounded by light, silence, and nature.
Swim in the pure waters of Lake Vanttausjärvi, row beneath the midnight sun, warm up in the lakeside sauna, or simply sit by the shore and listen to the quiet. As late summer arrives, berries ripen in the forests and sometimes our sheep wander by while you pick blueberries or rest by the water.
If you wish, you can spend the night outdoors – in a hammock under the open sky, or in your own tent surrounded by nature. At times we also host simple camp-style stays, where guests sleep in tents and share moments in the wild – without distractions, just presence.
These bookings are tailored in collaboration with the client.
