Welcome to our local Traditional Workshops, where you'll learn hands-on skills rooted in Finnish heritage. Each workshop includes guided activities, a tour of the historic Saariniemi Estate, a delicious lunch or dinner with dessert and coffee or tea, and a relaxing lakeside sauna session.
Needle felting
Create a beautiful and meaningful keepsake using wool from our very own sheep. You'll learn the basics of felting – from wool washing and carding to shaping your unique creation.
Traditional Baking: Kampanisu
Roll up your sleeves and bake kampanisus, classic Finnish pastries, using Grandma Betty's secret recipe. After baking, enjoy the fresh results with a warm drink.
